Professor Emeritus Mathematics

I teach at Salt Lake Community College and love my job.
I have a master's degree in mathematics from the University of Utah.  For my thesis, I worked with the engineers at the Utah Division of Air Quality to develop a model for air quality in future growth scenarios.  This modeling involved differential equations which I love.
I teach everything from intermediate algebra to differential equations and enjoy a variety of courses in a variety of formats.  I am innovative and constantly looking for ways to improve teaching and learning.  I am also very interested in e-learning and using technology to enhance learning.
